Trey The Choklit Jok

Trey the Choklit Jok is a 20+ year veteran radio broadcaster, television host, and radio programmer who hails from the westside of Chicago. He attended Columbia College Chicago and briefly studied comedy and improv at Chicago’s Second City and Improv Olympic. Trey practices the religion, Sarcasm. He also loves to travel, and shoplift from Target.

Trey decided radio was his path at 16 years old and has since claimed #1 Urban radio ratings from Mornings to Nights at stations in Chicago, Central Texas, and currently South Florida. 

Trey also has a passion for giving back to the communities that have continuously supported his career. He led after school and Summer programs for high school students from various Chicago Public high schools. It was there that Trey learned the meaning of “LIT” and “TURNT”.  In addition, he was an Instructor at Illinois Media School, where he mainly focused on developing the next generation of broadcast professionals. 

When he’s not on air, Trey loves traveling to California and Las Vegas but prefers Caribbean beaches over any destination. A son of the midwest, Trey’s ultimate dream is to star in movies and his own network sitcom.
