Alexx Dupri
Alexx Dupri is a 20+ year veteran radio broadcaster, television host, voice-over actor, and motivational speaker who is proudly from Chicago, the product of two science teachers, a daddy’s girl, foodie, very much an all or nothing personality, definitely a tomboy who’s nowhere near close to being a girly girl, & REALLY wants to be on the tv show SURVIVOR!
Alexx caught the radio bug at 12 years old and has since claimed #1 radio ratings from Mornings to Nights at 107.5 WGCI/Chicago, 105.9 JAMZ/Detroit, 102 JAMZ/Orlando, 103.5 KISS FM/Chicago, Power 92/Chicago, 99.3 & 105.7 KISS FM/Richmond, Soul 106.3/Chicago, Q102/San Francisco, and earned the distinction of being one of the few women in the country who has led her own morning radio show while at 92.9 KFAT in Anchorage, Alaska. She’s been heard on a wide range of formats, including Top 40, Hot AC, Urban, Urban AC, Hot Urban AC, Country, Dance, Talk and News.
As a Voice Actor, Alexx has been the station-identifying voice on radio stations across the country, in addition to countless commercials and business industry training materials.
As a motivational speaker for universities and corporations, Alexx inspires audiences to strive for greatness, pursue their passions and “take a leap” to get the most out of life and love.
Alexx’s determination to give back to the community has led her to teach Radio Broadcasting at her alma mater, Columbia College Chicago, coordinate blood donation drives, raise money for child burn victims, teach reading and arts after school programs for underpriveledged youth, and encourage fitness in women and young girls.
Alexx is also a 5-time IRONMAN triathlete, 75 mile ultra marathon runner and obstacle course endurance athlete. Next on her goal list is running a 100 mile desert ultra marathon and completing an Alaska to Florida cross country bike ride with her spouse, “Batman,” and their trusty adventure pup, English Setter, Ridley Lucas. In addition, Alexx’s love of the wild compels her to constantly explore vast, remote spaces while camping and backpacking and encourage others to discover the wonders of nature.
